Where I've been

Originally uploaded by mricon
Hi, all:

In case you're wondering where I disappeared to, then the answer is attached to this post. :) My wife gave birth to our son, Lev Konstantin, on December 12th.

Lёva showed up a bit earlier than he was due, which is why he was kept at the hospital for 10 days instead of the usual 2. Naturally, both mommy and daddy stayed with him during that time -- hence my absence from the interwebs. The LaSalle hospital in Montreal doesn't provide any kind of wireless service, and doing stuff on my blackberry was too much trouble for anything beyond light email use.

I'll be a bit busy in the next little while, too -- newborns require a lot of attention. However, now that the initial rush is over, I should be able to show up every now and again, and I'll try to catch up on my bugzilla backlog in the next couple of days. I also still intend to spend some time working on Sugar/OLPC during my parental leave, but I probably won't be able to do any real work on that until late January at the earliest.

Please welcome to the world the latest geek in training. :)
